Just thought I'd share some more photo's from the past week - the second feather tree class - some of the rugs I took over to the Folk Art Sale - and of course Quentin and the boys!
Sunday was the "overflow" class and was smaller than Saturdays so while the girls were "twirling" and glueing I decided to make a tree myself. I had that wool I overdyed that I bought at Grant Street - I'm calling it glitter wool!
Close up of the glitter tree - came out really pretty.
This class was a lot of fun - the girls all interacted with each other and there was much silliness going on - Judy said she could hear us all laugh down on the first floor!
Here they look serious for the picture!
Honestly - they were laughing most of the time!
Maryellen finished her tree and couldn't wait to open it (You should wait a day until the glue is totally dried but they used the glue pot on this one so that dries pretty instant!)
Noreen opening hers too!
So here are the rugs I took over to the Sale. Some I may have posted before as I finished them....
One of my "things" I do is make tree skirts for the feather trees - and each year for the sale I try to do a large one - this one is 24" so it would be good for a 5 feet or so tree probably - I called this one "Animal Farm" - wanted to do something that wasn't screaming Christmas...
This pic cracks me up of Jonesy and Quentin - this is down in the "bunker" - they love this old beat up couch (It is comfy - you sit and you fall asleep as it sucks you in! LOL) Anyway - so happy they are getting along!
Sunday morning Jonesy showed Quentin what a sunbeam was - now he seeks them out - or "sun puddles" at Pat would say!
Nice and comfy in Mom's lap....
Hey here's Riley - forget Mom! Well okay - half Riley and half Mom!
Hey Riley - you don't mind if I nap with you do you?
See ya Mom - now stop flashing that darn thing...
I'm planning a give-a-way and will post it later tonite or tomorrow! Hope you enjoy it - and this time you don't have to guess what anything is (remember the "thing" no one could get! LOL!)
Have a wonderful evening!

I was going to comment on your wonderful rugs, but then I saw the kitty photos, lol. That is so so cute, they are his big brothers now.

Would you ever consider doing a 'u-tube' tutorial making your feather tree ???
I'm in Australia & it's just a bit to far to pop over for a class
Yes, I want a tutorial for a feather tree too!! Or, you could just travel the world and come do a class in all of our fair cities!! I am so blown away by all of your rugs. I love them. I can't even pick a favorite. The tree skirts are wonderful, especially the farm animal one. You have been super hooking for sure!! That Quentin has won over the big boys, hasn't he?
