A wave is what I needed to get all I needed to get done this past week! Busy week for sure and of course I have these adorable boys that need attention too!
Today was the deadline to get my items to the Heritage Center so I can participate in the Folk Art Sale during the Month of December. (Info:
http://www.mhep.org/) So hopefully I can breath now - Been drawing, hooking, stripping, dyeing, whipping, zigzagging, etc.! I took over about 37 mats/rugs and 5 feather trees and 12 pin cushions! Wheww - all delivered!
Also this past weekend at the Cinnamon Stick we had not one but two feather tree classes! So between the hooking and stuff I had to get together kits - cut the wires, stain the bases, stirp the wool, etc.! Anyway - got that done!
So... here are some pics of the past week..
Feather Tree Class on Saturday - everyone busy working...
Sharon came to shop and she stopped up to visit! Sharon's very tall!
Look at the smiles!
Everyone helping everyone else...
Busy twirling away...
Sitting around wondering why they can't open their trees until they are totally dry!
Meanwhile on the home front - Quentin is growing up fast - he's 8 weeks old now and all three boys play together. He sure is a handful but I am so happy that he seems so happy!
Hey leave me alone - I'm napping here
Oh you can't sleep, well here let me wave my magic paws and put a sleeping spell on you...
Pheww... that one worked...
Oh no - here comes the BIG brother...
Hey squirt - what do you think you are going to do all day - sleep?
I said, it's time for your lessons...
Let's see you are only this tall...nope can't show you how to get in the ceiling yet...
Hey Riley, put up your dukes... i am too big enough to play in the ceiling...
that is after me nap...
Time to help Mom - don't you think she needs a little "gray" over here?
Oh I forgot - my lessons... Okay Riley - what are we doing now?
Okay - you see you stretch out...
and then give it a good push....oh wait - you can climb up the back too that will work too...
By pushing the back down you get this big old ugly chair more comfy to stretch out and Dad gets mad cause he always walks into the back of it - hahahahaha
My work is never done - have to help Mom with the hooking...
Trying to find just the right color...
Back to the bunker for a nap - I hope the big boys leave me alone for a while...
Oh wait - my tummy is growling...

Like I mentioned, Quentin is growing - he's getting tall - not sure what his fur will be like - long or short - right now it's just fuzzy. He's got a great personality and isn't afraid of anything. We do have to keep him away from the big boys food - he was sick with the runs for about 4 days last week and wasn't himself - then realized he was getting wet food from the other boys bowls (what he does is sneak up under the pie safe from under it on the other side of their bowls and steals their food - we caught on to this little move and now we put the bowls on the counter when he's downstairs ) It really was too funny to see how smart he is! He's feeling all better the past 5 days and being a total kitten - he "zooms" around at top speed and plays with whatever is in his path. He does like to chew so we are working on that! He purrs so loud when you pick him up you can't hear anything else and he loves to fall asleep being held! What a baby still! Gotta keep remembering that!
Well i have a lot of cleaning up to do from the whirlwind messes I left in my wake from crafting - then it's time to start over with some orders I put off and a few Christmas presents! Always something!
Enjoy your day!
