I Put a Spell on You

It's still hot and humid outside but I noticed so many people's thoughts are turning to fall.

I've been hooking up fall items for the Cinnamon Stick and plum forgot to take pictures before I took them over last week - so when I went on Saturday I took some some pics.

All these items are hooked directly through wool and made into little pillows...

I also hooked two tree skirts for the black feather trees...

On Saturday we had a "Black Wool Feather Tree Workshop" so the girls could make a primitive Halloween tree!  Lots of fun and laughs and I have to say these girls did great.  They were done in no time!

Amy was our "show-off" - She was done first!

Gerry second...

Josie 3rd...

Michelle 4th...

Kim 5th....
and Stacey last but not least...

Judy took over and generously gave the girls full run of the studio and had them create three witches shoes, rosettes, and cones - oh my there was glitter and paper flying everywhere and a whole lot of "punching" going on...

Wish I would have remembered to take pics of the little ornies they made for their trees - the only one I did was Kim -she made this little cone and somehow wired her glittered spider in so when you pull the string the spider comes up! So cool - everyone's items were so imaginative and cool!

I still haven't gotten to finish whipping and stitching the rest of my items I had finished hooking but hope to.  get to that this week.  Have to get the car inspected tomorrow - hoping it doesn't need anything!  And really really hoping to go to Grant Street on Thursday or else will be in withdrawal since it's been a few weeks!

My next blog post I will share with you pictures of an awesome gift I received out of the blue from a special friend !

Have a great week!

Love all your hooked pieces. I bought some "hookable" wool but have not yet tried it. One of these days...sigh.
Sure wish I could come take a class from you so I'd finally make a wool feather tree.
Hugs :)

Your hooked on wool pieces are so fun! Perfect little accents for fall and can see why they fly out of the shop!
The black trees are so neat! Fun to see pics of their makers......
Hope your car checks out positive and you can make it to Grant Street. I hear withdrawal from there can be painful!
Got your email..... Thanks for listening!!
Hugs!

I love the hooked on wool pieces...especially that little owl! Looked like lots of fun putting those feather trees together. Good luck with the car...I had to fix one more thing in mine and then it's due to go back today or tomorrow to finally get its sticker! Fingers crossed!

Joanne, I just love those sweet little wool pillows. You are very creative..

The black trees are great for Halloween and by changing the color to green you have some for Christmas. Great idea. JB

Love your little trees. I had the directions for making them, but it is no longer available on my list of bookmarks. I have no idea where I got the directions, but wondered if you would make them available? Please reply. Thanks.
