And of course at nap time - he loves to be held (Just like Jonesy used to) while he's napping...the flash from the camera woke him up - he wasn't happy but went right back out!
Okay - my post - Finally!
I'm so happy!
Extremely happy!
Had ANOTHER eye doctor appointment today (okay the fact they didn't take me in until 1 1/4 hours after my scheduled appointment didn't make me happy)
but the fact that the doctor said my right eye is totally free of scar tissue and clear and my left eye is 95% clear!
Woohoo! And the best part is I don't have to go back for SIX WHOLE MONTHS!
After nearly 6-7 months of eye doc appointments every 10 days and then down to every three weeks - and major bucks spent on medicines - I am thrilled not to have to go back for 6 months!
And another plus - I am allowed to wear my contacts but need to use a preservative free solution! I had just bought a supply of them right before this all happened and thought there goes $300 down the drain if I couldn't wear them! Because I can wear my contacts I won't be putting money out for new glasses right now since I will only wear them around the house (Glasses always seem to run about $400 when all is said and done - why a necessity is so expensive is beyond me)
Anyway that's my news on this damp and dreary and drizzly day!
Hope you are all stress-free with your Holiday happenings!
Have a wonderful day!

What WONDERFUL NEWS!!! The bestest Christmas Gift to be sure!!!!
I am really happy for you and just watched a movie that had an appropriate line, "if I was a dog, my tail would be wagging!" *smile*

Yippee! I'm so happy that your eyes are healing so well! You have been through so much with this issue! I agree about the price of glasses! Would they like to pay the car insurance for the crashes we'd have without the specs? As always...thanks for our Quentin fix! (though I feel bad for the big boys...we love you too, guys!)
Hugs and blessings!
Yippeee...no more complaining about wearing your glasses....THAT YOU LOOK PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL IN might I add!!
So happy for a good doctor report..truly a great Christmas present! We have to celebrate!!!!
Kitty pics are precious...XO
That is wonderful news! Quinten is such a sweetheart!
So happy for your good news!!! What a great Christmas present. LOVE seeing and hearing about sweet little Quentin!
That's great news, Joanne! Wish I could still wear contacts...I wore them for 30 years and then suddenly they weren't comfortable any more. Since I'm extremely nearsighted, my glasses always run about $400 too. If I didn't need to update them nearly every year it wouldn't be so bad.
Quentin looks a lot like our little Frisky used to. She's 4 years old and still looks and acts like a kitten. Hubby says if we had been smart we could have made a fortune with her since she's such a cute and willing model.
Hugs,
Pam

Quentin is so sweet!
YAY!!! Great news, Joanne!
That has made me happy, seeing Quentin on the side bar, I love him so much from afar.
As for glasses and hospital treatment, we are so lucky here in uk (at the moment, things are changing slowly.
It must be such a worry to be ill or have problems when you have to pay so much.
Why do they charge so much for glasses? it is the same here, could you buy them online for cheaper, that's what I do.

An amazing gift - the gift of sight. And wow - contact-ok to boot. Great for you! I've never been successful with contacts - too many eye issues...and I despise the inconvenience of glasses. So half the time I'm blind - and getting worse by the day. Quentin is a little sweetheart....oh for a lap kitty!! Wishing you a Christmas filled with blessings. Smiles & Holiday Hugs ~ Robin
