It's So Easy

lalalalalala..... It seems so easy.
(Seems so easy, seems so easy.)
Oh-oh-oh, so doggone easy.
(Doggone easy, doggone easy.)
Mmm-mmm-hmm, it seems so easy.
(Seems so easy, seems so easy, seems so easy.) .....lalalalala

Well I have to say first that I do not want to "jinx" anything, but dealing with this car accident is going way to easy.  I've been dealing with extremely pleasant and helpful people and have hit no snags.  I haven't had an accident in a lot of years and the last time I was hit I do not remember it being this "easy" - I remember having so many problems I even called a lawyer for advice!

I called his insurance company to file a claim - they couldn't have been nicer.
Someone called me back immediately with information.  Then the appraiser called and told me I could go directly to the auto body or he would come out - Since the auto body is 1 mile away i thought I would just take the car.  I called this morning  to set up an appointment to get it looked at - they said come in anytime.
So I went this afternoon.  They already had all the paperwork from the insurance company so I didn't have to give them any information - Wow
He does the estimate - sets up the appointment and tells me I'm entitled to a rental car (when does anyone offer information anymore?)

Anyway - Monday my car goes in for repair.  I will hand them my keys and they will hand me the keys to the rental car! I don't even have to get a ride to pick it up!

Like I said - things are easy!

Knock on wood things stay "easy".  It really makes me feel good that things do not always have to be a problem!

So the last few days have been rainy and grey and dreary.

My boys have been doing this...

Me, haven't been doing much of anything constructive.  I really wanted to dye some wool but I like to put it in the dryer and my dryer is still busted.  My husband just got back with some new parts and hopefully he will have that fixed soon - my laundry basket is overflowing too!

Shhh, don't tell Riley I'm telling you this - but last night I was sitting there watching TV and next to me was an empty tissue box that I hadn't tossed yet.  Riley jumped up and put his head in it and got it stuck on his head - I was laughing while fumbling for the camera - Darn it - he had it off his head before I could snap a picture!

He just looked so silly with a tissue box head!  I don't think he was amused because he knocked it on the floor then!  Silly boy!

Keeping my toes crossed the dryer gets fixed today so I can do laundry and dye wool.  Also have been slowly loading different things back on my computer - so it's getting there!

Wishing everyone a great week!

I hope you get it fixed soon, I need my dryer, though I don't know how I get so much with just two people, lol. Figures, they always do something funny when we don't have the camera out, I think they do that on purpose, lol.

I had the same type of experience when I had a rear-ender a few years ago. The party at fault had Progressive insurance and the process went so smoothly that I was tempted to change providers! I hope your repair looks perfect when you get your car back! I love hearing about Riley...wish you could have snapped that photo in time!

Your post sounds like an insurance ad! LOL I'm glad you're seeing smooth sailing in that department. I hope that dryer get fixed soon. I haven't dyed wool since I moved and I'm itching to get a day in. But with school starting, I have all I can do to keep my wits about me!
Funny kitty!

You have certainly had enough going on. Time for things to slow down and give you a break. Glad that it's going smoothly for you! Happy to hear that Phil got the part ;). Now hoping it's the right one and it's fixed for good!
Shame you didn't have the camera ready for the tissue box on the head. would have been a funny picture for your side bar lol.

Living without a dryer is no fun at all. Hope hubby can fix it for you. I have several drippy faucets too that needs fixing.

Glad that your insurance people are nice about it and that your car will be fixed pronto. JB

Here's hoping things continue to go smoothly. The customer service you are getting is unheard of! Woo hoo for you!
Too funny about your furbaby. Why isn't the camera handy when you need it?

Hey Josie, Jump in your rental with your laundry and come on out to GS. You can do your laundry while you hook. Just tell Phillip you are going to the laundromat for a couple of days. This will give him more time to fix the dryer. Glad your claim is going smooth. I am glad things are looking up!

Isn't it always the way with cats. You just get the camera focused and they move. I often think I need one permanently hanging around my neck then I wouldn't miss any good shots. lol
