I Wish I Could Back-Up

Well first I like to say how wonderful it is to have soft towels to dry off with and soft undies to wear!

Yep - the dryer is fixed - WHOO HOOOO!  That baby heats up now and did 5 loads yesterday!

My husband just handed me a flash drive/memory stick (whatever you want to call it) and told me I best back-up the computer from now on (he's really pissed that I lost everything on my computer and I wasn't backing up - mostly he's mad about losing Jonesy's "baby" pictures)  I will be right clicking and saving them from the blog one of these days and putting them on a disk.

Okay Mom - you better listen to Dad - we especially need to save pics of ME !

I'll read the instructions and let you know how to use it...

Things are looking up I suppose - the car goes in for repair Monday, the dryer is fixed, and slowly getting things re-loaded on the computer!

The weather however is crazy anymore - so much flooding going one - Philly area got hit pretty hard today - however even though we are surrounded by creeks, we've been lucky but so many people in the area haven't.

Spent the afternoon and evening at the Cinnamon Stick's Fall Open House .  If you are in the area and get a chance - stop in - the store is packed full of fall and Halloween treasures.  I was supposed to be working but I spent a good deal of time walking around and walking around again seeing things I missed the first 5 times!  So many fun ideas - and around ever corner there is surprises and snacks!  Oh and the store smells ooooh sooo good!

Tomorrow it's back to the antique co-op to work for the afternoon so I get to play checking out more nooks and crannies and old things!

Stay safe out there and have a great day!

I am glad you got it working again, nothing worse than having a major appliance break down. I use san disks, but for some reason my old data got corrupted, so I can access the photos, and I need to back up soon before I lose anything.

Sorry to hear about the flooding too and glad you are safe! That can be pretty scary with water all around you!

Joanne, so nice to hear that your dryer is drying and fluffing your cloths again and that you soon will be driving your own car again.

The cat pictures are just too cute. I too need to back up my photos and I keep putting it off.

I'm sure that your job is a lot of work but it must be a lot of fun too.

I hope that you stay dry, the river level is very high for this time of year here too JB.

Joanne ,So glad everything is going better for you ...didn't know you were at Judy's , I would have stopped in to see both of you... I know I cannot live without a dryer or a computer, I hate to admit it, but I am addicted to the modern conveniences ... Miss you and hope to get talk to you soon....
Love Nettie

The "soft undies" line cracked me up. I remember when our dryer died, I thought the same thing.

I thought maybe you would be going to the Colonial Day show with Linda and Kathy. I'm sure the jobs at the Cin. Stick and the antique place are the most fun jobs ever! Make sure you get those kitty pictures on the memory stock right away. Riley knows they are priceless!
