Bad Luck

Well I'm sitting here and I can't wait for September to be over.  Normally I love the month of September but mine started out bad with the accident, the dryer, the computer crash and so on.  I wish I could stay in bed until Saturday because it seems everyday something else happens!  Oh well! Only another two days!

I won't be updating my blog with fun antics and wonderful rug pictures from Grant Street this week because I was unable to go!  I was having issues with my car this week and can't get it in the shop until Monday!  It seems I'm having so many car problems lately but I have to say - it never really needed anything until the past year or two and at 142,000 plus miles I can't complain (even though I feel like it!)!

My plans were to go out this week like I said but didn't want to chance it with the car and since no one has ever offered me a ride out there nor has Kathy ever decided to swing by and pick me up on her way there (hahaha just kidding - can you image - it would be 2 1/2 hours out of her way just to get here!) I was stuck at home.  I did get a call to fill in at the co-op for 3 hours today so I did that instead.

Another reason was I'm having issues with my eyes too.

Wish this was the problem

But it's not.  I went to the eye doc since the past two weeks my vision has been getting worse and worse in my left eye.   The problems are a whole combination of things but I'm being treated and hoping for the best.  May have permanent blurred vision in my left eye but the problem didn't get as severe in the right eye so that's a blessing.  Another long road to getting back on track but it could be worse!

One nice thing was I got home last night and there on the counter in the kitchen was a fall bouquet of flowers with a note that had "paw prints" and said "To Mom, We love You, The Boys" (and it also said that Dad had nothing to do with getting the flowers!) LOL  So i put them in one of my milk cans...

Okay they are prettier in person - I'm not good at arranging!

Tomorrow its back to the co-op and on Saturday it's demonstrating rug hooking - they are calling for cooler weather and rain - so I'm hoping the rain holds off since its an outdoor event!

Hope everyone has a great end of September this week!

I hope your eye problem isn't too serious, mine are better since I went on the meds, I was seeing spots all the time and flashers, not fun. What a sweet thing from the kitties;)

Hi Joanne, Gee you are having a rough time this month. Well ,September is out the door and I sure hope that October is more generous in the good luck department.

I'm sorry that you are having problems with your car and with your eyes. Cars, you can always get another one but eyes are more precious than diamond and gold and I sure hope that the specialist can do something to fix the problem. I'll keep you in my prayers.

I'm so glad that you got nice flowers to cheer you up. Such nice furry and thoughtful boys. Keep your chin up. Hugs, JB

Hoping your October is much better than your September. Glad you got to at least get out and go to the Co-op. It's no fun being unable to get out of the house and go when you want. You are in my prayers...hope your eye problems get resolved. What thoughtful kitties you have! They knew Momma needed some cheering up. Beautiful flowers! Wishing you a great October!!!!!
