Back From the Vet
Well I told my Mom and Dad that I was healthy for my age - but no - they didn't believe me and I had to suffer all sorts of trauma and indignities this afternoon. They took me to see that awful man Dr. W. They like him - I don't!
Without going into too much detail as I was totally stressed out over it all and wish to put it behind me, Dr. W. says I'm extremely healthy for my age - my bloodwork checks out, I do not have diabetes, I do not have a thyroid problem, my heart is really healthy, my lungs are good - I do have a gum infection however and will have to suffer thru my parents pushing antibiodics in a syringe in my mouth for 10 days, I just hope Jonesy and Riley don't watch and laugh. The Doc says there is no physical reason for the other problems that I do not want to talk about, but Mom and Dad have to watch me anyway for any other changes. Geez - no privacy whatsoever - at my age this is mortifying!
Now if you will excuse me, I really need a nap - it's been a long trauma-filled day.
Miles

Oh, Miles! You look worn out!!! Hope you are taking a good comfortable nap on a soft blanket!
Joanne, I'm soooo glad there is nothing serious wrong with your dear boy! I know the vet visit was as hard on your nerves as it was on his!
Great Big Hugs to both of you!!!
Dear Miles,
you look so dear in the last photo, consider yourself hugged to bits...I am so glad your little issue is not serious...just probably being an ornery old boy...
try not to stress your mom and dad out so much by choosing only the litter box when making a statement!
and ignore those two young whippersnappers when you're getting your medicine, they will just be jealous of all the extra attention your getting...
Awwwww... poor fella! Take care of that gum infection... you will feel so much better! Have a nice nap!
Miles, so glad that you came out relatively unscathed from your visit to Dr W. So glad to hear you are a healthy guy. Do tell your Mom that I said hello. Have a restful weekend. Sounds like there will be some nice warm sun spots for you to rest in. Sweet dreams...
Poor Miles, he is such a sweet guy. Glad he is healthy otherwise.
Debbie
oh Miles...what a difficult day for you. But, it'll all be okay. Take your nap and you'll feel better. And, soak in that extra attention from your mom and dad!
Glad nothing was wrong Joanne. I know you were hoping for an answer to his problems. Hope it will subside for him. Poor fella..
I read about your wool feather trees on another rug hookers blog. I like in your area. Do you give classes on the trees? Do you sell them locally?
I know your Mom well Miles...and she can be a pain with all that doctor stuff...but it is just because she LOVES you so much...so maybe you could try and be on your best behavior!
I just spent the last hour or so going through your blog and found the instructions for making a tree. Oh, MY! Can't wait to try this! THANK YOU...for the tree, and for all your inspiring rugs!
